How this is measured. the share of API requests not answered with a 5xx; 4xx and 429 are not counted against us. It comes from real operator traffic rather than a probe hitting our own health check — a probe tells you whether one endpoint answered one caller, which is why status pages stay green during outages their customers can see.

A month with no requests shows no figure rather than a perfect one. Inventing a number there is exactly the kind that gets quoted back when a real month goes wrong. Operators see their own account's figure, month by month, in the dashboard under Service level — including anything we owe them when we miss a target.
