How it pays
A correct cup pays a fixed multiple of the stake, set so the return to player lands on the published figure. There is no partial result: the round either pays or it does not.
Is there a strategy?
Each cup is equally likely and the position is fixed by the seed before you pick. Picking the same cup every time and picking a different one every time have exactly the same expected return.
Is it fair?
Yes, and you can check rather than take our word for it. Before a round is played we publish the SHA-256 hash of the server seed. When the seed is rotated we reveal it, and anyone can recompute every round played under it. The game’s mathematics is versioned, and each round records the version it ran on.
